Focus on finding waste, reviewing unnecessary spending, contracts and administrative costs, and protecting taxpayers before asking residents to pay more.

Improve winter road service and address heavy snow windrows left across residential driveways, with particular attention to seniors and residents with mobility challenges.

Work with residents and appropriate authorities on practical measures to improve neighbourhood safety and protect quality of life. Stanley will explore practical ways to make Ward 7 safer, including access-controlled neighbourhood concepts, traffic-management measures and modern safety technology, where legally and practically possible. This includes exploring privacy-conscious smart cameras and AI-assisted safety technology in appropriate public areas to help improve nighttime safety, deter crime and assist with serious incidents. Any system must respect privacy, Ontario law, emergency access and community input.

Improve parks, trails, recreation opportunities and amenities for families, children, youth and seniors. This includes responsible vegetation management around Ward 7 ponds and green spaces, selectively trimming overgrown areas and improving sightlines where appropriate so residents can better enjoy views of the water and local wildlife while still protecting natural habitats, along with better lighting along appropriate trails and public areas to improve visibility and nighttime safety.

Make sure roads, infrastructure and municipal services keep pace as Bradford continues to grow.

Keep Ward 7 residents informed, listen before major decisions are made, and provide residents with accessible representation at Town Hall.

Advocate for a more convenient bulky-item pickup option through municipal waste services, so residents have a practical way to dispose of larger household items without unnecessary hassle or extra private removal costs. We should also review waste services for efficiency and look for ways to improve service while controlling costs for taxpayers. Cleaner neighbourhoods. Easier disposal. Better value for residents.

Many residents are tied into long-term water heater rental agreements and may not fully understand the total cost, cancellation terms or buyout options. Stanley wants to advocate for better consumer information, contract transparency and fairer buyout options, helping residents compare long-term rental costs with ownership and pushing providers for clearer, more reasonable buyout terms. More transparency. Better choices. Lower household costs.

Stanley is not running for the paycheque, he's running to serve. If elected, he intends to reinvest the value of his Councillor compensation back into community-focused initiatives that benefit Ward 7 and the broader Bradford West Gwillimbury community. Any support will be handled transparently, responsibly and in accordance with municipal and ethical requirements. Public service should be about giving back to the community.

Explore free public Wi-Fi in selected parks, common areas and neighbourhood gathering spaces, and look at modern technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E, Starlink-based connectivity and wide-area Wi-Fi products so residents have an option when cellular service is weak or unavailable. The goal is better connectivity, stronger public spaces and a more connected Ward 7.

Advocate for partnerships with Tesla and other EV charging providers to bring more convenient charging options closer to Ward 7 residents, including Tesla Superchargers, community charging stations and pilot projects near suitable parks, public areas and community spaces. Where possible, we should encourage private investment so taxpayers are not carrying the full cost.

Advocate for a cleaner and more permanent solution for unwanted flyers and junk mail around community mailbox areas, including working with Canada Post on attractive, secure recycling or disposal stations that become part of the mailbox area, and exploring secure shredding or other privacy-conscious disposal technology where practical. Cleaner mailbox areas, less litter and smarter neighbourhood design.

Advocate for a properly designed Ward 7 off-leash dog park with fencing, seating, waste stations and safe areas where residents and their pets can enjoy the community. Ward 7 has many dog owners, and they deserve a dedicated space close to home.

Explore the feasibility of a small, shallow community learn-to-swim facility or similar neighbourhood water facility where children can safely learn basic swimming skills. This could also create opportunities for qualified local youth to work as lifeguards and swim instructors, helping younger children while earning income and gaining valuable work experience. Safety, accessibility and proper operating standards would come first.

Advocate for permanent, clean and accessible public washrooms at suitable high-use parks and trail areas. Families, seniors, children and people walking or exercising should have access to a proper washroom when they need one.
